Meet Victoria – Our New Hospital Manager!

Victoria joined Clear Lake City Veterinary Clinic in January and has since become a vital part of our leadership team. With over a decade of experience in both clinical and administrative roles, Victoria brings a unique blend of hands-on medical knowledge and strong leadership skills to the hospital.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Victoria grew up in the Clear Brook Meadows area before moving to the Rio Grande Valley at the age of ten. In 2012, she started working as a veterinary assistant while still in high school. Over the years, she developed a deep passion for veterinary medicine—particularly emergency and critical care—and went on to spend five years as a supervising veterinary nurse in a high-volume ER and ICU hospital. During that time, she worked overnight shifts while simultaneously pursuing her undergraduate education full time.

In 2018, Victoria earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University – Kingsville, with a concentration in livestock management and meat science. She also holds a certification in artificial insemination in beef cattle. While she has a strong background in large animal care, her career remained rooted in small animal emergency medicine, where she served as a lead surgical veterinary nurse and team mentor.

In 2020, Victoria was asked to return to Houston to help open and manage a new general practice veterinary hospital in Southeast Houston. As Hospital Manager, she oversaw operations, team development, and client service, while continuing her own education. In 2022, she earned her Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Healthcare Administration—graduating cum laude from The University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley.

At Clear Lake City Veterinary Clinic, Victoria works closely with Dr. Andrée and the rest of the team to enhance training, improve communication, and elevate the client and patient experience. She’s committed to the long-term growth and success of the hospital and takes pride in being a permanent member of the Clear Lake community. She’s also passionate about community outreach and client education, and is working to strengthen the hospital’s ties to the local area.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys a quiet and creative life with her husband, Tue, and their four-legged crew: Shelby, a loyal 10-year-old pit bull; Taro and Thai, her playful 5-year-old Labrador retriever mix siblings; Jasper, a 4-year-old a laid-back white and gray tabby; and Calcifer, a mischievous 2-year-old tuxedo cat. In her free time, she enjoys baking (especially sourdough bread and seasonal treats), reading, and anything related to horror and the paranormal.

Whether she’s mentoring staff, speaking with clients, or helping shape the future of Clear Lake City Veterinary Clinic, Victoria brings integrity, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose to every aspect of her work.
